Day 20: Press On!

Day 20

The goal of fasting is never to say you did it. Our goal is not to finish. Remember, fasting doesn’t change God it changes us. Let’s look at this scripture and apply the very important principle…

Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

 Press On!

What are we pressing on toward? Not a finish line in the fast so we can go back to “regular” living. NO! Fasting changes us. We are more aware of Jesus and His presence in our daily lives and hopefully we have learned to dominate over our flesh. So, a bit of instruction for you as we near the end of this 21 day fast… don’t go back. Press on! There is more to attain in our walk with the Lord. Don’t throw yourself back into the life you had prior.

Philippians 3:12-13Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead”

Forget what lies behind and continue living a fasted lifestyle. If you fasted eating out, limit yourself. Don’t just eat out every day, let this fast change you. We’re excited to see how transformed your life has become, drop a message below and testify of what the Lord has done in you throughout this fast!

We love you, we bless you, we’ll see you tomorrow!
