We’re looking at a well known passage today and it’s going to bring such power and encouragement to us! Take some time to sit in God’s Word today. Look for Jesus in scripture. Remember, He is the Word that became flesh.

Daniel 3:24-25 “Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up in haste; he said to his high officials, “Was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire?” They replied to the king, “Certainly, O king.”  He said, “Look! I see four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire [v]without harm, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!”

Often, when we begin doing things for the Lord, we encounter resistance from the enemy. During this fast you’ve been drawing near to Jesus and He has drawn near to you! Just like in this chapter we can be assured that Jesus is standing WITH you in the fire! He doesn’t leave you in times of struggle or attack from the enemy. So, don’t be surprised when the enemy attacks you with anxiety, financial trouble, stress, etc. It probably is happening because you’ve taken a stand for the Lord. No matter what you’re going through you can set your eyes on Jesus. Look for Him. He is standing WITH you in the fire.

By placing our attention on the Lord we begin to see just how involved He is in our lives. I can promise you this, He is with us. He never leaves us nor forsakes us! So don’t walk through your day without acknowledging His presence today.
