Did you set a timer yesterday for 10 minutes to pray in tongues? If not, I encourage you to pause and do that first! We need to do this activity, it’s truly a nuclear source for the believer which is why the enemy fights us so hard to do it. Have you ever prayed and wondered if your prayers were effective? Romans 8:26-27 ” In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”
The Will of God
Praying in tongues prays the perfect will of God. Those prayers are fruitful.
Ephesians 6:17 “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints”
When we pray in the Spirit then we can be on alert. It’s almost as if we can become numb to the things of the Lord. Allow praying in tongues to alter your prayer life and become a joy. Remember, this is a willed activity. Something you submit to and under. It doesn’t happen unless you choose to do it. Let’s bear His fruit in our lives today by remaining connected to the Vine.
